Hello to everyone

I am Jan-Sietze (a typical Dutch name)
I found this forum because I was looking for information about my Husqvarna 55
I have this chainsaw to rebuild after I've destroyed the crankshaft ...

Fortunately I am not without chainsaw, I also have a great running 372XP.

For my work I do technical maintenance of the railways
and in my spare time I like to maintenance my car (a self-revised 2.0 16v)
Tinkering with engines is not strange to me, i have a Mercury outboard rebuilt after it had crash.

My 335XPT is still apart after the oil pump was defective,
the restoration of this chainsaw has presently no hurry.

I hope to learn a lot, and meet interesting people over here

Sorry for my bad writing and grammar errors

Jan, how is your name pronounced?
Maybe it's "Yawn-Sights" ?

Welcome to AS!
Difficult question... It sounds most like: Jan(uary) seat sè ,
that makes Jan Sietze

I have destroyed the crankshaft
Now the Husqvarna disassembled to the crankcase.
Splitting the crankcase tidy and remove the crankshaft gently is now my biggest challenge...

I bought a used crank on ebay,
but afterwards it had been easier to buy a complete crankcase with crank...

And maybe I will

Today I received my new crankshaft,
okay it's a used one but in good condition.

yesterday I split crankcase and have it nicely cleaned.

Now my question:
How do I replace the crankshaft without destroying the new crankshaft and bearings ?
