The larger hole that is plugged is the tank vent. It must be unplugged in order for the oiler to work correctly.

Thanks Brad. I figured that out looking at the IPL. What's the hole just to the right of the stud? There is a second hole in the guide plate, like for a mounting screw. But unless I'm just missing it, it isn't labeled in the IPL?
