My new Oregon power cut bar for my echo 590 seems to be incorrect. It's almost as if the gauge is smaller than 0.05. The replaceable tip is the right size but the rest of the bar is not. Almost as if it is 0.043 as my Oregon 72EXL chain does not fit. Fits fine in original bar. And the side by side picture the echo bar is on the right. Yes I'm sure it's more worn down than usual because of its age but it still looks a bit smaller on the left.

Ur sprocket may be worn badly and damaged bottom of drive links from the looks of them, or chain has came off recently and burred the links thus not fitting into new bar

Argh, you're right. A new chain fits nicely. Dang. Is a stock sprocket recommended or is there a Rim sprocket available?

There is a rim type, I think from cs620 model, but I think it is outrageous priced-

Is this Archer any good? I just purchased the same on Amazon now.
