Sorry if this has been asked 100 times before but, the search is still broken.

Are p50,p51,p52 parts interchangeable?

For the most part they are. Early P50's used a mesh type air filter so the rubber carb box and top cover and top handle are different. The P52 uses a different coil and flywheel also.

What do you have in mind?

I ran into a few parts saws and had someone looking for a p50 case. The nicest case I have is a p51 and I wasn't sure if that would help him.

Also trying to see how close I can get to a complete saw with the pieces I have.

Thanks

Pioneer NU17 Piston

Question for the Pioneer Experts out there.

I am looking for an after market piston for my Nu17 Saw.

I saw that someone had found a similar piston and machined it to suite but for the life of me i cannot find it again.

Any info would be great.

Thanks in advance

Is your cylinder worn out? If not then the piston from a 600 series saw is the same as the NU17 the RA also, they are not too hard to find.

Al, our postal strike is supposedly over, your parts will be going out shortly.

I agree with Ed, they all seem to do that.

I'd be grabbing that one up if I were you David.

I'd tell you to grab it for me if it wasn't so dang far away.:msp_unsure:

Thanks Ed & Chris Every thing seemed to be good, but it sounds like a blacksmiths shop on idle. We should get them altogether & see if we can tune them & form a handbell ringing group Al.

I picked theses saws up last week. A pair of P41 saws for parts, a P28 electronic and a P40. The older saws are a 2200, 2400 and I think the large green saw is a 700. Was originaly yellow but has a extra coat of green paint? The older saws do not fit my collection. Trading material for the P series saws or ???
