Rebuilt carb on 031av and made adjustments and got H/L adjustments set and running good. :D Problem now is that when I "flip the Start/Stop switch" to Stop the saw continues to run. :bang: Any suggestions what to do or look for? Thanks

Look for a ground that isn't connected to ground. Also look for corrosion. Corrosion is the #1 cause of electrical discrepancies.

Check the continuity of the wire and make sure you aren't grounding out on something, look for metal to metal contact where it shouldn't be. Check the switch with a multi meter too if all else fails.

Normally its something obvious like a broken or disconnected wire.

If you were grounding, or touching metal, the saw would not run, that is
what the switch does. Try to just tighten the switch nut a hair first, it
usually is not getting a good ground there. The wire goes from the switch,
straight to the ignition, so the problem is not too hard to isolate.
