Need a new saw. I lost my husky 266se and rancher 55 in a garage fire. Thank god the fire put itself out. Anyway I am working through the insurance claim. I got spoiled with my 266. With a 18" bar it screamed. I absolutely will not except less power with a new saw. The saw I have in mind has been husky 359, 372xp, 2165, or 2171 jonny. It seems the jonny is the best deal. Can I get some input. I only use for firewood for myself, usually less the 24inch oak.

I wouldn't look at the 359.

The 365/2165 would be a close match to your old 266. The 372/2171 would be better. the 372 or 2171 is a heck of a firewwod saw with a 20" bar, yet still have the power to pull a 24" bar every now and then.

I think the 2165 is a heck of a deal. It was the best $475 I have spent on a new saw. The 2171 is great, but at $650+/- it's a little more painful.
Bottom line, if money isn't an issue go for the 2165. If you are cheap like me go for the 2165 (but don't ever run a 2171 or you will end up with one). :)
