just got the saw in at 6:00pm. waiting in the driveway with the dog for mr. brown to show up since i got home from work!!
it seems in decent shape, not a brand new saw, but the p & c look clean, no scoring, can even see some hone marks (how long do they remain on the walls after a rebuild?) didn't do a compression check yet, no tester.
fired it up and it runs good, kinda rough idle, and hesitated a little on throttle stabs. i am gonna pull the carb off and check it out, then replace the fuel line and filter, and run it! seems the low needle might need to be leaned out a little. what do i do about the tabs on the low and high needle that limit my tuning?
definitely dirty!! some pics....
what is this baffle on the muffler? seems to be restricting it a litle, can i take that out, or bend it over the srew?
case cracked here where the inner dog would screw into.
