I have a Stihl 026 I am selling. I bought it off here and to be quite honest, it is too finicky for me and I don’t have the time or desire to mess with it. I have ran it 3 times since I got it. The first time it wouldnt stay idling so the next time out I fiddled with the carb adjustments and it would idle. Yesterday it seemed to go back to not wating to idle. I set it by the steps in frustration and today went out and it started right up in the cold and idled fine?
I dont know but im not messing with it anymore. The previous owner said it was at 155 compression, whatever that’s worth to you. It leaks a little gas. Not sure if its through the cap or the little crack on the bottom (see pictures). If you need some pictures of something up close let me know but i am not taking the saw apart or anything like that.
