I has a stihl 028 super chainsaw. I have replaced the following on the saw:
Clutch side bearing (OEM)
Flywheel side bearing aftermarket C3 bearing from industrial supplier.
Crankcase gasket (OEM)
Crank seals on both sides (OEM)
Clutch cover (aftermarket)
Piston and Rings (Tecomec)
Cylinder Gasket (OEM)
Muffler Gasket (OEM)
Carburetor (OEM)
Air Filter (OEM)
Fuel Line (OEM)
Fuel Filter (OEM)
Bar (Aftermarket)
Chain ( Oregon)
I have rebuilt several saws before with good success but this one has an air leak that I can't find. It idles too fast and I can richen up the low and get it to idle right but then it will start running fast again. I am tired of wasting time and money on it. I am putting this out there to see what kind of offers I can get. I would like to get most of my money back.
