Yep. If it’s in good shape... a used cylinder with a new OEM or Meteor piston isn’t a bad idea either.... would a used factory Stihl c&p be my best bet?
Not near as many 046 as 044........priced accordingly......just ask me.I plan to read the above mentioned thread once I find time, just curious are there 460 jugs out there in abundance and how much would I be looking at for a cylinder if I went that route
They're out there Seamus, especially if you want to do some cleanup. I'm pretty sure some crankcase modification is necessary to make one fit.
