Stihl ms 461 flywheel side bearing NLA??

hi everyone,

I have a 2015 ms461 on the bench here. The saw has a clutch side bearing failure, the bearing held together and to my surprise the top end came out unscathed.

Emailed my local stihl dealer looking for bearings..

Their reply was the flywheel side bearing assembly is NLA and I have to buy a left side crankcase assembly to change the bearing.

Are they full of it or is that bearing not available?

I haven't split the saw yet but I'm curious as to wether or not my dealer is misinformed?

6202 eh?? Well then .

I have a box of FAG c3 grade 6202s in my shop.

I haven't split the case yet so was wondering if there was some kind of magical special bearing behind the flywheel lol.
