Okay, to start, I've owned my MS251C-BE for about 3 months, I've downed one 50ft scrub oak, a 25ft cedar and bucked and finished up both of them, so it's seen <some> use, however, I was just wondering; has anyone noticed their chain break melting? It's been touching the muffler and melting the bottom of the brake, and it's also been melting little grooves into the engine cover.
And for whatever reason, even after tearing it apart, the oiler does not work, at all, my chain is bone dry 24/7, I checked the worm gear and the gear arm and it's all assembled as it should be, and it does not work at all. Thoughts?
Also, I HATE the easy start function, it is way too hard to start this thing it a hurry, I'm swapping the recoil sometime soon, but that's more a personal preference.
Otherwise, it's a good performing saw, quite impressed with it actually.
