Only ripped with it once, only got 39 board ft. tree was a small rotting red oak so I wasn't able to get very much out of it.

4700D coil. should get that warrantied by stihl. 4700C and 4700D known to lean seize saws. 4701A was the fix with better fuel values. This happened back in 2013 2014 2015 ...when was this saw made? thanks.

Well that sucks. I am interested in this saw if I raise the money, but I’m not sure my local dealer would do the service for me with it being registered to someone else.

Does anyone now how much the proper coil for it would cost if ordered?

I certainly will if it's a warrantied fix but I Don't have the money for parts. The only reason for selling it is money.

Nice saw, good price. I ran two 661s with the proclaimed "wrong coils" but with a strong oil and never have had a problem. Maybe with Stihl Ultra at 50:1 there have been failures but not with mine! This is a good buy.
