I've been eyeballing those shoulder and chest protectors that are built like chaps.

Anyone here use them on a regular basis and if so, how do you like them?

Just my personal opinion... I tried one but went back to my full shirts with the reinforced pads just like the feel of the shirts better....

I don't know, I've not laid hands on one. The one I saw online was a breathable net-like material except for the padding. Bailey's doesn't carry them, so that tells me that they don't sell well. I was hoping to find someone that used them.

I guess they're one of those things that are a pain till you have a bad kickback and then you're glad you dealt with the inconvienence. I used to get funny looks from my buds when I broke out the helmet and chaps till one of them grazed his knee and walked out with bloody jeans. He understands now, but still doesn't wear chaps.

Ed, What are those padded shirts you're talking about?
