I learned something today. A Poulan 4200 absolutely smokes a 245A, even a ported one. They're not even in the same ballpark. Those 4200s just hod RPMs in the wood like CRAZY. Nice saws Mike!!! Those saws turned some heads today.

I could have told you that! There 2 completly different saws. But the 245 is about 2.5 lbs lighter.

If you like a 4200, just wait till you run a 5200.

Absolutely agree on the 4200's. That is one STRONG saw for sure.

Well, got to take a nap so I can get up and play with "MY" 372 in the morning....;) Thanks again rburg!!!!

No comment if some of the time keepers may be biased towards Husky.

Can't get over that Poulan!!!

Big saws are cool, but that 346 was pretty impressive. Hope wigglesworth does it again soon. Thanks for hosting a stranger.

No race chains were used, all were round ground. Did we mention that they were OAK cants....

Jeremy, you get beat with chain or did you let that 372 spank your 044/046?

His chain was new, mine was old...so who knows???

No fancy race chain or anything, just plain ol' RSC and LGX.

Later on we got both those saws to run in the 8's in that same cant.

That Husky is a runner, for sure.

Ya, a 288xp with a pop-up too!!!!:dizzy: To say I was disappointed with my saw is an understatement, back to the drawing board....

Go Husky go Husky go, put your hand in the air if you're a true player.:clap:

Did the 346 outcut the 288 too:greenchainsaw: Like I said, just remember you had fun building it. You'll make it what you want yet.
It's pretty amazing that a 50cc saw can keep up with 70-90cc saws in 10" wood. Hey Mike and Jeremy, you know you want one:cheers:

I was pretty pleased with that darned ol' hunk of junk!!!
Especially when Jeremy made a sub 10 second run with it............and missed the crossover!

Here are a few pics
