It's gonna happen Sunday September 23rd.

I'm gonna have some 8x8's or larger milled up for the race saws and 14"+ yellow poplar or basswood for work saws.
I'll see if I can get some big wood for the vintage and large saws.

I'd like have guys to bring any 550/545's, 555/562's, and 365/372XT's they have ported or stock to see how they
all stack up new vs. old tech.

I'll be grilling up hamburgers, hot dogs, and sausage, if you guys would brings sides, or
drinks that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm about 45 minutes south of Rochester, NY

PM for directions and address.

I'll be there for sure. I'll have all requested saws, plus some others. :msp_rolleyes:

Looking forward to seeing the new shop.

Been talking with Ed about a set up for this GTG

And it'll be primarily focusing on new generation Husky 545/550, 555/562, and 365XT/372XT vs
themselves and versus previous generations of saws.

I'll have wood for timed cuts.

For stock/ and woods ported saws: round ground/filed chain, either .325 or .375, fuel provided
to keep everything even.

And if guys want to run race saws we'll run classes based on what ever shows up.

so no orange and white saws welcome ??
what town are you nearest there blood ??

Stihls are welcomed and encouraged. But I've got a bunch of guys who want to see
how these brand new Husky's compare to the older saws.

I'm about 45 minutes south of Rochester, in the Finger Lakes

Closest town is Honeoye, NY 14471

I'm trying to cover all the bases as alot of guys have different interests.
Some guys like firewood cutting others like racing and I like both.

So I'll be trying to line up wood this week for GTG

For racing we'll do something close to the following.
0- 50cc
0- 60cc
0-80cc
0-100cc
0ver
these will be for the stock/woodsports classes , all round filed chains , no square filed/ground stuff and yes we will be checking so donot think a goofy filed chain is going to get by , Just trying to keep these classes on the same page for everyone

race classes , am thinking , all cold start 3 cuts , wood sizes we will see
5cu and over 5 cu , if enough interest we can have muffler and pipe classes in these classes ,
unlimited so pretty much bikesaws

Bad attitudes will be left at the door.
I'm looking to have fun, run some saws, eat some food.

I know of a few guys from Eastern, NY but not any from that far east.

Trying to get some more folks coming to this.

Got over a month to go, so there's plenty of time yet. I know several people who haven't chimed in on the thread that plan to be there.
