Cool. Can I take that to the bank Luke? I think alot of of our saw partners are not leaning the H enough. I leaned mine and it runs like a bansee raped ape. It's a modded 359 by EHP and it blows me away everytime I use it. It loves big wood. I only use 32:1 or fatter, but it's always held to the pin.

Oh yeah John no problem at all. I think that everyone needs to turn their H clockwise a good 3/4-1 turn to maximize performance. Personally I run the salad dressing mix, and after every tank i've gone through on my saw I add a shot of cod liver oil into the carb. I really wanted to make my saws run good so I tightened the H as much as I could. Last I checked my 066 was running at 18,500 rpms. She sounds great, kinda like a low flying jet. Of course I only start her up to listen to her exhaust note at WOT. I then shut her down after a 45 minute idling cool down.

Good Tune!

I'm with you Luke, I too always gave my saws an injection of hot fat. Lol

Try Bar and chain oil. My neighbor grabbed his gallon jug at 4:30 in the morning by mistake and poured it in his 50 gal tank on his 26 ft pontoon boat.
Has a 125 two stroke on it. He went to the Arco and filled it with gas and went boating 7 times before he needed to gas up again. He realized his mistake when he needed bar oil and only had a gallon jug of 2 stroke oil.:dizzy:

I'm on a role, here's a good Three Dog Night tune.

If you want to seize your saw, I recommend any of the following:

Opti-2
Lucas Semi Synthetic
Amsoil Saber
I don’t think the saber is that bad @ 40:1 or 50:1. Their claim of 100:1 or whatever is just plain crazy. I’d never run that ratio in anything. I’ve tried the amsoil but wasn’t blown away by its performance.

Good old oil threads aways good for a laugh.
I run lucas semi synthetic in my dirt bike and saws, they get filled from the same jug of mixed gas, haven't blown one up yet.
Check this video out if you want to try different oils, I don't think it matters what oil you use after watching this.

Do you actually think a 4 hp really short stroke motor needs better lube than a long stroke 50 hp one? :crazy2:
Let me put it this way, I'll run mixed gas from my bike in a saw and never worry about the saw but would never put gas mixed with husky or stihl premix in a bike, its not good enough.
