All the Permatex products that are readily available here, Blue, Ultra-Grey, Black and the Redstuff are not compatible with exposure to gasoline. Look at the tube if you pick it up at your auto parts store to make sure. The product I have used by Permatex that will work for the application is Permatex "Form-A-Gasket" 2. Yep the good ole standby, # 2 Permatex. Been sealing stuff like that forever and a day and is still good stuff.
