Okay, A girl friend of mind not as in dating just a close friend calls me yesterday about a big oak on her place her dad gave her. Said the limbs were hanging over some of the structures on the place and she would like it to disappear. She can't pay me, but she said I could have all he wood to sell.
I usually charge to do the cut plus get all the wood, depending on what i charge and if they won't some of the wood. I would say no call back when you could pay me but this girl is super fine and I wood have ask her out before Renee, but I'm 25 years older. I could use the wood but I'm not desperate for it. I guess I'm jut a sucker for a good looking girl!!!!:(

Do the job and uhhhhhhhhhhhhh give her the "wood", forget the money, hehe

To further digress, this brings up the interesting debate for us shop owners concerning the ethical question of hitting on customers. Of course, the better they look, the less I dwell on the ethical issue. I have done this occasionally over the years and it has resulted in several, how should we put this, "happy occurances". Naturally, a few were multiple occurances. There are two more possible occurances in play right now in fact. One looks like it's a done deal, with the other highly probable.

Ethics? What ethics? :D

I sit here pondering your post and can come to one conclusion...

It would seem to me that the vast majority of customers going into a shop that I assume deals mostly with, if not exclusively, chainsaws and chainsaw related equipment... that most of the clientelle would be, well... of the male persuasion.

Following this further would mean that most likely any females coming into the shop would be very limited in numbers... and not to mention the few that would handle a big old 660 say would be a little less...uumm on the feminine side? (At the risk of making generalities here :) )
:chainsawguy:

This can only lead to one conclusion if you put the two points together.. :hmm3grin2orange:

and that resulting conclusion is kind of creeping me out....... :p

If I would have known what day the tree was coming down I would have come up and watched her watch you cut the wood. I would be there to assist her in anything she might need.

It sounds like she is not interested in goodwood. Never do work for a chance with women. You’re paying with cash, and she is paying with a renewable resource.

OK I call BS. I think the OP should have started out... It was a day like any other day...
This is obviously a post meant for a Men's magazine Forum;)
There is no "girl" or pictures... We've been duped, all 116 posters.
Everyday I check this thread for the lovely lass and....nothing.
This is someone's idea of a sick joke.
It never happened:)

I'll be back tomorrow -- just to make sure

You could be correct. I did not even get asked to come help and may be about the closest to him. Makes you wonder.
