Wonky piston pin?

You could always buy a different aftermarket piston for it and throw that in there instead of chasing down the OEM parts.

You can get a new piston and rings from the same source for less than a 5 spot to your door.

Or you could complain and they will tell you "we checked with our technician and he said ok to run hope you can have a try"

I've got a taper wall pin out of a Makita, but that's not what you've got. Well, is there even a dollars worth of price to be used for the pin on that saw?
 
It being drilled off center isn't gonna affect the balance because the wrist pin isn't spinning. But I still wouldn't use it. Or the rest of the kit.
