There's 5 grapple truck loads each at a 7 cord guaranteed minimum yield. In this case as the wood is so straight, packing in tightly plus they only had to haul 4 miles over back roads not worrying about getting scaled, there was probably closer to 8 cord per load. The last load, that was 2/3 cherry, weighing less than the previous loads of red oak, hickory and black birch was absolutely freighted, probably close to 8-1/2 on that load.
My best estimate for yield right now is some where in the 37 to 41 cord range when all is said and done. There is a small amount of maple so I'll probably lose a cord or so to core rot.

Golly gee garsh boys. I should disqualify myself cuz I did that kind of work and got paid for it. I visualized west coast style loads. Because those were short logs, my imaginary loader piled them up higher than is legal here in Warshington, and that's how I figured it.
