Yep, sure is. I put a new OEM P&C that I did a good woods port on and dropped the squish, modded the muffler and it has become my favorite, even over my 044`s but it might just because I just built it, you know how that is. LOL

Yep. My back sure likes them 044's better, but the 038 mag is one tough bird. They really wake up with a few mod's as well.
 
My fovorite to cut with was my Husky 266SE that I used for 20 some odd years and a pic for wigglesworth of the 044 I put a B/B kit in and sold without putting it in any wood,it was my favorite to work on.

As far as the newer saws it would have to be the 1st STIHL that I ever bought, my MS460!:chainsaw:

I own a lot of saws including Stihl, Husqvarna, Homelite, McCulloch, Poulan, etc. But I think that my vote will go to my original Poulan 3400, the first saw I bought new over 25 years ago. It is currently torn down due to a broken ring, I hope to have it back together soon.
