I NEED SOME INFO. about a 394xp SAW. I guess it is bigger than the 371XP. Does the xp mean it is a
commercial type.

About how many cc's ?? Is this saw a discontinued model ? The one I have found has no b/c.

what things may I expect to have to do? (Its my Spring project I guess)

THANKS:bowdown:

JOHN

My opinion is: Go get it. Last 394 I passed on still makes me grit my teeth when I think about it.

The 394xp was replaced by the 395xp, but share cases.

I see that you're a Stihl guy, so think of 066/660 with a little more weight and power.

Just under 94cc
Just over 7 hp
"pro" saw
Outboard clutch
Discontinued but parts are easy
Who knows what it'll need, but a safe assumption would be everything.

there was one in my area for $400. big miss on my part

I passed on a 3120 for that price. I had just spent quite a bit and didn't need the saw for anything I could think of. I should have bought it just because it was cheap. Been kicking myself for two years. Oh, well.

The 394 is a beast and very desirable.

thank you THANK YOU

I had one and sold it to a fellow member here.
There are times i wish i'd kept it. Great running
saw with lots of power. I was impressed with it.

Blow her out good with compressed air, wipe her down so shes all pretty. Then gas her up an cut some wood.
