Good dry wood, straight and tall chimney and a good EPA stove is money in the bank! Between 6 mo. to 3 year pay back when you factor in money saved in Oil and Gas. I went from buring over $3500 a year in oil to $1000 in oil and $500 in wood (My own supply).
Hey people, I want to buy some boots for doing trail work, brushing, limbing, and a bit of felling. They will be used spring, summer and fall and I would like something comfortable and not too hot(if there is such a thing).
x2 the 357 is my main firewood saw, the 7900 is for playing and and the odd 20+ inch hard maple. I bought the 346NE for trail clearing and limbing and so far I love it, might buy another one just to have a spare. I also keep a 340 with the same 16" B&C for a backup/loaner and that way when I go...
I like the Orange cover better too, when the silver one looks crappy I'll probably replace it and make it look right. If my nephew wants my 357 bad enough I'll have the same two saw combo you have!

Yep, I just paid $ 740. for a 346, some dealers are as high as $800 some are as low as $725, my dealer is also a customer of mine so it made good business sense. Now if there were more that $100 diff between a Sthil or Husky I would go with the lest expensive.

So true, the coil in my 7900 went bad and it was just out of warranty, my local dealer (opened after I bought my saw) got it covered anyhow so anything I would have saved shopping it around was just paid back by good local support...
