Did you Replace the main jet nozzle when you rebuilt the carb? They can cause a poor idle.

Dolmar ps-5105 , they still make it now called the Makita EA5000p And the ps-6400 7300 and 7900 I’m keeping a 5105 in a box , and a pre-epa 6400 .

Just ordered that last of the 6400’s that Makita Canada had. Looks like one of the bunch was a full wrap pre-EPA 6400 with the decompression valve on the left side. Think I’ll keep it , maybe paint it blue .

Nice saw , I have the 7300 Don’t know what it is but I like these saws more than any other... The best is when someone walks into my place to buy a Stihl and walks out with a Makita / Dolmar .
