Finally getting around to replacing the plastic clamp on the intake of my 340, so cylinder is coming out. Straight forward job (man where the cylinder bolts loose tho...) but when researching sealant types for this I saw a youtube video where the man was slathering sealant...

So my old 020AV Super that I havent used in a few years wont idle.. Starts great. Cuts great at high RPM, no issues with that at all. But dies instantly if I let go of the throttle. Low and high adjustments about 1 1/2 out. Finicky adjustments. Idle screw doesnt seem to do anything really...

I got a Husqvarna 36 for free, In pretty rough shape. It has spark and compression. Its dirty and has melted plastic parts, The fuel lines are broken. But its all there, and I'm thinking it might be worth to get going as parts are plentiful and cheap What do you guys think? TIA

Hey all. Looking to get a KM 56 RC-E KombiMotor with the Power Scythe attachment. Stihl says run it at 50:1, But I run everything I own on TruFuel 40:1 (Got several Cases) I'm thinking it would be just fine, Any thoughts? Thanks

Anyone use it? I have trouble finding the G-Oil B&C oil so I got a quart from my local Stihl dealer to use on my own land as I like Biodegradable stuff. How do you guys like it (if you ever used it).

Hi All, I got the chance to pick up a Stihl 020av super for a project I'm working on. It is in good used condition, Starts easy and runs well. No broken or missing parts. Well worn bar and chain (14") so I would change that to 12" anyhow. Is $150 a fair value? Thanks Eric

So my trusty old 340 (8 yrs old) suddenly decided to act up to the point its very hard to adjust the carb AND started slinging B&C oil profusely. Starts fine, Revs hard then bogs down but if I let the throttle go comes back.....etc. Plugs fine, Filters clean, Spark arrestor is clean...
