You guys may have this figured out already, but in case you don't know, I like XL-12s!!!!! I need a muffler and a upper wrap mount for one. I have some stuff to trade.

Me too Randy! See my siggy...:D

I've got the top handlebar mount, but no spare mufflers (I could use one or two myself). Whatcha got to trade?

How about a corroded flywheel with some busted fins????

Wait, that's not all!!!! I also have an extra plastic recoil cover for a wildthing, it's missing the guts though.

Really though, I have quite a bit of stuff around here, whatcha need?

Yeah. It's a shame. He's a site sponsor, and a 'little guy'. I try to support both when possible. He also cataloged a bunch of parts at reasonable prices. He's just too damn unstable however. I'll be ordering some carb kits, chain loops, filters, fuel lines, and other bits in the next few weeks. Was going back and forth trying to decide who to spend the $$$ on. Watched Calvin melt down again and again. Decided not to risk doing business with him. Just too damn much drama...:dizzy:

I used to do some business with him. He has always been good to me but with the melt downs over the last year I have also moved my business elsewhere just to cover my ass. All the talk of no money and being behind on everything makes me nervous about not getting what I order.

I guess I asked for that didn't I???:jester:

I don't know. That bracket's not worth a whole lot (even on feebay I imagine). Got a few S-EZ bar nuts you could spare? Spare E-Z air filter? How about a good condition blue/white XL12 clutch cover? On second thought...........I'd be owning you after that last one...

Just PM me your address. Merry Christmas!:D

Im looking for a husky 50 if anyone has one .. preferably one that is "blown up". My stepson is getting the cad "itch" and he really likes my husky 50's. I made him a deal.. if he can get one running on his own.. I will let him have it and use it with the stipulation that it has a safety chain, under my supervision and full ppe! (hes 15). Any leads on a husky 50 would be much appreciated.

I posted this over in the want to buy section but figured I would post here too. Im looking for a two man chainsaw in decnt shape (fixable). Im also looking for a bike saw in trade for a Stihl 650 in good shape maybe 30 hours on it. Jess

You forgot the Skil, the O&R, and the little Poulan...:hmm3grin2orange:

Mmmmmmm. Good stuff. Had it at the original source. Now the Hopland Brewery has lost its lease, and I'll have to travel another 15-20 minutes closer to the PMW (and RandyMac) to get some fresh at the source. If you make your way out west, I'll buy you a pint (at least) at their new location. I'll be sure to look for some Saranac Irish Stout next time I'm in BevMo too.

Here's where yours comes from. They've been owned by the Mendocino Brewery folks since 1997. If I make it to your neck of the woods we can compare notes.

That's right Tim. Once you got a 505 your "dibs" were canceled.:biggrinbounce2:

Ok..............right back to on-topic content...:D

-I could use an inexpensive but usable 16" .375/.050g small Homelite/Husky/etc mount bar for my Homelite Super E-Z auto. IIRC, the driver count is different between the little Homelites and the small Husky/etc saws, but the mount pattern is the same (8.2mm slot). Don't really want to mess with .325" chain on this saw.

I'll probably just end up getting a cheap bar from feebay, or a cheap asian bar from Baileys or one of the other site sponsors, unless somebody wants to get rid of one here. If you have one laying around that you wanna get rid of...........then please LMK what you want in $$$ or trade for one shipped to me.

-Same thing regarding a cheap 16" Homelite XL12/Poulan Pro/Jonsered/Pioneer/Remington pattern .375/.050g bar for my Remington/Wards SL-9A. .375"/9.5mm slot. That saw has a neat little 12" RN bar that I'm going to put aside for 'safekeeping', as it's too cool to wear out, and too short for my limbing needs. I'd like to run a cheap bar on this saw fer workin'. All the bars I have in that mount pattern are 18" and longer (mostly 20"), except for the nice old Homelite stenciled 16" hardnose that was OEM with one of my SXL12's. That's not getting used except at GTG's now, unless I get an even nicer NOS replacement for it down the road...

I have a complet Remington wards saw with a good hardnose bar on it. Probably a 16" and I have a couple Homelite 16" bars as well.

I wouldn't mind seeing the whole Wards saw be gone. Its all there but it is scored.

Well I tryed to talk myself into getting the parts to complete this saw. But, what on earth would I need something like this for firewood.
So, to the good part. I came across the parts to 2 Stihl 084s. One saw could be made of the 2 but would still need a new piston, recoil/starter , clutch assy and a muffler front if you could repair the rear half. Both cylinders has the damage to the muffler bolt holes. Also one has a nick on the upper side of the exhaust port due to a moron trying to get the clutch loose. Actually both cylinders have these marks just one not very bad at all. Both would clean up well with little work. The one complete crankcase needs spilt for new gasket. Hence the attempt to remove the clutch. the other has been crunched in the front. There is 2 cranks 2 flywheels and ignition units, 2 oilers, 2 rear handles one being a semi trans unit. They both have the olsed style filter bases with one filter, 2 carbs and one set of plastic filter and engine covers . Also there is the clutch cover.
Now I would like to trade this bunch for one saw. I am looking for a firewood saws in the 65cc and up range. Would love to find a heated handle saw. But, that would be hoping for alot. I prefer Husqvarnas/Jonesreds, Dolmars then stihls in that order.
I will get everything rounded up for pics tomorrow. So, lets hear some ideas.
Bob
