5.5 cubes of Greeness.....

Well after month's of waiting, and numerous parts coming from all over North America, she is finally seeing wood. A big thanks goes out to several members (u know who ya'll are) for helping me get some very hard to find parts.

She is sporting a new 30" Total Super Bar and (dont laugh) a new Oregon branded "Harverster chain" with the rakers at .050. :help: Can you say GRABBY!!! And the wood is a red oak crotch.

Anyways, that is all I had handy, so that is what she got. I have some RS chain coming for it, but I got tired of waiting, so here she is.

Yep, there alot alike, but in the same breath, there a lot different. I found lot's of variations while getting parts. If u think 6000 parts are hard to come by, try finding 5500 parts.

Indeed a fine saw,

Need to turn that deflector the other way and strap that dude to a Alaskan type mill.

That long stroker would be happy buried in some long rips in hardwood.

Yes, the deflector was missing. That is just a 3/4" piece of EMT. Somehow conduit end's up in all my mufflers. Must be the electrician coming out in me.

Well Wiggs I see you lost it at last. A GREEN SAW !! WTH is going on out there? Most be something in the water. Congrats man nice looking saw. Oh by the way I got some of them too now. Got a sweet 3700 going today. I lost a lot of my Stihlhead status when I started carrying around a big green saw. Now what ?

I hear ya Big P. For some reason, there seems to be more orange in the shop lately than creamsicles. The big Green Guy kinda stands out amongst them. I blame it on the 50 rare earth magnets hanging off the ceiling. There doing something to ma brain...

Them 3400/3700/4000 saws are definitely a saw worth havin. I put lot's of wood in the stove with a 3400, way back before CAD took over.
