I have a NOS 36" but I never knew you needed one

Yeah then there was them 2 new 24" poulan pro bars just down the line from me in the flea market last last weekend. $35 each but they were hard nose.
Ed do you need any poulan branded chain?

Very nice. I tried to rep as well, but must spread...

One of these days I need a K&N for my 655.

Bee-oo-tiful! I have to agree that this is the holy grail of saws. I've never taken the time to figger out how to 'rep' someone, but now is the time.

I have no idea what I'd do if I had that saw; I couldn't run it, and my wife wouldn't let me keep it on the windowsill in the front room. My humble(d) opinion is that it needs a longer bar to look right. My delicate sensibilities prefer your work saw (or mine), anyway.

I had to go out and rub some crud off mine to see if it has the EX. Nope. It does have a NOS BP top end, though. I believe the EX is there because a guy has to choose whether the affix is going to apply to the saw or his wife. I'm keeping both - in separate houses.

GREAT SAW ED!!!!! Tried to rep you but gotta spread some around. BTW, I'm guessing the EX stands for Electrolux, just guessing.

Could be, I'm not sure when Elux got involved. I think ModMark does though. The info is somewhere in the Pioneer thread. Lee's P61 is a straight Pioneer, even before the Partner merge. At first I thought you may have nailed it, but now that I thought about it... I'm not so sure.

Best I can tell 1979 was the year Husky bought Pioneer. 1986 they bought Poulan

I don't think so either. What year is that 61? Elux bought Pioneer in 80 closed em in 84. Pioneer/Partner was from 84-88, and Poulan Pro begain in 89.

This is from my poor memory, so I might have it wrong, but I can look it up again if needed.

I fixed him up, and I think 35 other guys did, too. Some Razorbak rep for you, too, Barney.

Hey Arrowhead, we thought that was an Auroura Borealis comin' across the Land of Lincoln. Turns out it was your paint job!!!

Nice...

now I need one...

Don't fuel her up. Just be sure to put a couple squirts of oil in the spark plug hole then gently pull her over, every few years. Don't want that to end up pretty, but useless, in case you really do need to fill her up and let her rip...

I just checked my 655BP and it just says Pro655 no "EX". Your example of these terrific old beasts is fantastic.

Mine says PRO655 too, and I am pretty sure it was originally sold in the US, so I doubt that EX means export.

Awesome saw...... That is the holy grail!!!
