Found this site, picked up a used 044 for cheap, got a little Homelite xl2 and poulan for $7 for both at a swap meet, and now an 028. I'd say that's pretty good for only a few months.
The neighbors talked me into the saw repair nonsense. I blame the collecting business on Mr Bowsaw. You see I got this MAC Super 250 that needed a new carb. Cliff offered to help me out, but then he sent a carb with another mostly complete 250 attached to it. Couldn't let it go to waste, and the madness started....

Fixed my dads (now mine) MAC 3516 AV from the early 90's. Has some sentimental value as I watched him take down a bunch of trees in my yard and my uncles at the time. I was prob around 10 or so. I couldnt see it go in the garbage so i tore it down and replaced the fuel lines etc last fall. Found this site in the process and now im a mini mac fanatic....mostly because i like small saws and the McCulloch brand and partly because I like being told I cant do something and then do it anyway.
