Indiana gtg update MAY 18TH is the day

May 18th is going to be the gtg date. Im hoping for good weather but in Indiana anything is possible in May. The wood search is going great and we should have plenty. I have several guys that are members here helping me get more wood so im very thankful for the help. I would like to know how many of you guys are planning on attending? Im asking so i can decide on how much wood to get, what to get for lunch, and how many drinks we need. Dont know if i can get "cants" for racing so im leaving that open for now. Would be great if everyone can pitch in some $ to help pay for wood, food, drinks.


Im thinking we start cutting around 9:30-10:00 so we dont aggrevate the neighbors
Lunch around 12:00
Then we can cut some more and BS til whenever.
Please no alcohol til everyone is done cutting.
Parking will be in the back unless its wet.

3.5 hours for me. Hope as time get closer I can attend. Only been to one so far and it was a bunch of fun. Hope to make it. When I know more, I will certainly let ya know and chip in somehow. Thx!

I'd say theres a very good chance, but like I said before kinda hard for me to commit this far out.

As for the $$, every GTG I have been to we have always passed the hat around for a collection to help the host out with expenseses and I have no reason to believe it wont happen again.

I just Google earthed your address, and have to ask, have you warned the neighbors yet? :msp_ohmy: Hope there understanding ones.

Yeah I will see when the time comes if those old saws will run and bring them along. :msp_thumbup:

Ya all the nighbors are super cool and they will probably come over. I have 5 acres so we will cut in the back.
