Cant wait to run your saws when you get them back. Ported saws rule!
well i guess i have a goal then. i am putting together my first ported/hybrid saw. it is an 024 saw, with the jug bored and re-chromed to accept a 44.7mm piston. it will have some mild porting done as well. i know it is not a 100cc monster, but these 40-50cc saws are my thing. it should easily be ready to go by then.

I will try my darndest to be there, but can't give a 100% just yet.

You can only go if my deer head is done!!!

BTW, pick me up on your way through or meet me at my house and I will drive from there if I can get loose..

OK I KNOW I WILL TAKE SOME HEAT FROM THIS,BUT WHAT DOES GTG STAND FOR????sounds like running different saws and fun.

Kinda slow at work this morning so I have been doing a little AS reminiscing...Actually went and reread the thread from my GTG....What a boat load of good times and comments...Not to mention the pictures...LOL

I can honestly say that everyone I have met from here have been absolutely great...You just don't find people on other forums that click like they do here on AS...

Thanks to all the host GTG's and make it possible for members to put faces to names....

i hope i get to go,it sure sounds like fun, never been to one.....i better start saving just in case someone has a saw for sale;)

Google says 9hrs 52 minutes, 634 miles. I would like to come but will have to wait and see. Already planning on going to the gtg in Missouri in april and the Iowa one also.

May 18th is going to be the gtg date. Im hoping for good weather but in Indiana anything is possible in May. The wood search is going great and we should have plenty. I have several guys that are members here helping me get more wood so im very thankful for the help. I would like to know how many of you guys are planning on attending? Im asking so i can decide on how much wood to get, what to get for lunch, and how many drinks we need. Dont know if i can get "cants" for racing so im leaving that open for now. Would be great if everyone can pitch in some $ to help pay for wood, food, drinks.

Im thinking we start cutting around 9:30-10:00 so we dont aggrevate the neighbors
Lunch around 12:00
Then we can cut some more and BS til whenever.
Please no alcohol til everyone is done cutting.
Parking will be in the back unless its wet.

Any questions please call or text me at 317-670-6070 im Joe Stanley

Man, you live like 5 miles from me! I actually know a gal that used to live at the end of your gravel road, when we were in HS.

Sadly, I'm standing up in a friend's wedding on the 18th, so I won't be able to make it!

Such is life.

Have a good time!

Mike
