Got three kids and never checked, being surprised is the best part, at least for us it was, never really understood why anyone would want to know.

Starting early. Our 6 year old boy loves helping with firewood. We always take his hand saw to cut up branches while in the woods. Hopefully I'll have more help in a few years. We have a 13 month old boy, and other boy will born in January.

I have to girls 2 and 4. I take then with me all the time to go get wood. I think they mostly like all the blackberries they get to pick. It would be nice to have a boy to go cut with in the future but as long as as they are healthy that's all that matters to me.

A couple years ago I got one of those toy chainsaws for the now 6 year old. He took it with out in the woods with me one time. He got so mad and upset when he realized it didn't actually cut like my saws. He never liked it after that. That's when I started giving him the hand saw to cut small branches with so he could actually cut wood.

I don't my wife does she thinks it's important to be able to paint the baby's room there proper color prior to and you can buy clothes on sale with you know it's going to be a girl and all that happy horseshit

Same thing here. But honestly, when you see the echography, it is pretty easy to see it's a boy!

But it's good to know, we already have a lot of boy's clothes, the room is green, and his first chainsaw will be a Husky 346xp:D

If it had to be a girl, I had bought a Stihl:p

#1 was a girl, we were surprised. never thought about what it would be like to have a daughter ... and frankly, I was fine with just her. always wanted a son, but truthfully when I met her I was completely fine if I never had any more kids. I have a son too, and for him we found out ahead of time, for the reason that I wouldn't be disappointed to have another girl, just disappointed to not have a son... I knew we were stopping at 2 ... so we decided to find out so I could emotionally deal with whatever it was going to be before it came. my little guy is 2 and his favorite word is chainsaw.

for those about to have little ones, I promise you, it doesn't matter boy or girl. you will love them either way and the day they are born you won't care which is which.

to the op... nice little guy you have there!
