Is Stihl 361 or Dolmar 7310 better for firewood?

Just a bit bored tonight so thought that I would throw this out there. Without getting into any brand bashing, which saw would you go with for all-around property maintenance and firewood duty?

I guess it depends on size of your firewood. Those would be felling size saws for the wood I cut. I like the smallest or really lightest and fastest saw I can get away with. 550 2253 or 261 is ideal for me.

I think 60cc is very useful but I would get a dolmar 6100 myself over the stihl. Unless you found a good deal on a 361 then 361 all day.
But I also know if I had the 7310 I would "have to " upgrade it to a 7900. More power grunt grunt grunt. Lol.

The 7300 and 7900 are real close in power, not sure about the 7310/7910

I also see a 60cc saw as a better candidate for firewood. But for "property maintenance" I see a 40cc saw, like the Dolmar 420/421, as a MUCH better candidate! Depending on how much firewood (just for the chimney or all out heating source) it will be more than enough for that task also.

Thanks for the replies, but please keep it to the two saws listed. Been poking around AS too darn long and have CAD like all the rest of you fine gentlemen so I already have more saws than I really need (want, now that is something else entirely). I suppose what I'm really trying to decide is whether to keep a 361 or a 7301, or consider if a 7310 would be an improvement on either one.

Actually, Tallguys, you are kind of comparing apples to oranges. The Dolmar 7310 has more horsepower (5.4 vs. 4.5) and more weight (14.7 lb vs 12.9) than the Stihl MS361. If you are locked in on the 7310, you should compare it to the Stihl MS441 C-M (5.6 Hp and 14.6 lb).

And, don't forget the even lighter Husky 357 XP. A few of these might yet be around (4.4 HP and 12.1 lb). Decisions, decisions...
