Should a 372xp be able to bog and wet 12-20 inch Pine?

You want to put as much fuel thru as possible. Make it four stroke hard as it comes into the hi-mid and then get it nice and hot to fine tune the hi so it four strokes out of the cut and cleans up in the cut. It should four stroke if you lift in the cut and then clean up as soon as you let it eat again. Your chain is not eating real good. Not surprising with the factory grind.

Congrats! You’re getting it. But you gotta tune with the lo to start with if you want that saw to snap! like it can off idle.

Watched it again. It will take more fuel.

Start with the lo...

Fine tune lo and hi together once you get a feel. Make sure you are pouring lots of fuel to the high when you’re bucking long cuts. That stick you’re cutting is a longish cut.

The high setting was turned all the way in on the limiter cap I put it about halfway in the middle and it seems to cut a lot better the log in this video is very heavy and green and the sauce seem to go right through it and no problem
Now we’re talkin!

I’m confused, did you richen or leanin the hi?

Clockwise or counterclockwise?
Clockwise. It was turned all the way counter clockwise. I think it has about a quarter of a turn adjustment limitation
I should mention that I am at 5200 ft where I live and where I go cut wood normally is between 6 and 7000 ft

Not seeing a problem with the L screw...it idles fine with no off-idle bog. It still needs more fuel on the H screw though. In the first video it revved up slowly. Last video it was better. Go another 1/4 turn out with the H screw

I think this is going leaner. It was turned all the way to the left I turned it a little bit in the Middle with the limiter cap I can't do much

So you leaned it. Huh. Oh well, I was wrong. It happens all the time. Adjust the lo like I said. There’s more snap in that yet, I think.

That’s what I was thinking. But maybe not.

Anyway August you are off and running.

Check the spark plug at some point. Should be nice medium brown or so
The plug is always been a nice Brown that's why I didn't know if there was anything really wrong with it my other size are a little bit darker except for the dolmar 111

It doesn't really have much of an effect that I can hear I know the low does affect when you rev it but I'm not really seeing much change should I make it richer on the low?

There’s more in that saw and chain than what you got so far. Keep playing a little. Be careful sharpening that chain the first time and it will get better.

I don’t know. Follow my steps for low adjustment and you will figure out where best throttle response is. Eventually you will figure out how you like each of your saws to run for you. Just make sure you err to the side of rich.

Fully counterclockwise would be as rich as possible Right I think my ADD is kicking in

If you want maximum snap out of that throttle, you have to tune the low like I said. Until you get to know the saw. At that point you will just know when something’s off.

Besides, you need the practice.

Please practice as a righty, not a lefty. You’re a lefty, it will be easy for you to switch. Easier than for a righty to switch, that’s for sure.
