Have not, if anything the newer version seems to be doingYep, I actually recommend them to a lot of the guys who were more into the straight bars of the stihl saws, now though it seems even stihl has followed husky on making a proper bar angle .
The fastest stock saw on that chassis I ever owned was a 2153, bummer it was stolen from me , but I've had quite a few of them through the years and I think I've recovered okay . Although I could probably use another just in case .
Have you ran a 550 mk1, they handle even better.
better in that anyone who bought them no longer complain
of hot starts impossible starts and cooked top ends.
They are a little heavier, but I would take that over breakdowns
any day, on a small saw it won’t matter much.
We’re on about the 346xp, if the Jonsered 2153 was it brother,
then that saw was lighter than the current 550xp mk2,
so much for progress.
