He bought it off of Craigslist a long time ago. He has never had any work done to it since he's had it. He's a no maintenance kind of guy. Use it very hard if it brakes buy a new one.

It is replaceable, just like a 346XP. It's really no different in design than the Stihl bearing, in that the seal presses into the outer race.Supposedly that seal is replaceable but it is proprietary from Husqvarna

Correct.so the seal presses into the outer race, and has a regular rubber and spring seal against the inner race? i've held one in my hand but not taken the seal out... I should do that if I can find my old bearing.... thanks Brad
