Looking at those dead maples is like looking into my future. I had all my silver maples cut back 4 years ago. Effin woodpeckers seemed to attack the trees shortly after; one in particular. I saw the little bastard last month. He wasn't only drilling holes, I watched him rip the bark off and fling it, too.:censored::censored:
