You must be using belray h1r... It inhibits combustion too much due to the lack of solvents.

I refuse to go that thick, I much prefer a 9:1 ratio.

I don't mix oil with my gas i just take the plug out and pour some oil in the crankcase. Could that be why its so smoky?
