Thanks for the fast reply. Already gave the carb a nice cleaning and the diaphragms/gaskets look to be in good shape. Same problem after the cleaning. Starts and revs up fine, but let off the throttle and chug chug to off.

Might be the module on the carb.

So @blsnelling ... The 1/4 turn on that screw under the brass plug fixes the "cuts fine and idles fine, but has a bog off of idle" condition?

As an aside, I already checked/yamabonded the base gasket and transfer covers, and am ordering the covers to make sure I don't have a vacuum leak from crank seals or something, though the saw has like 6 tanks through it so I doubt that. Was fine for the first few tanks, then I took it in to get the warranty/updated cover with the hole in it, and they put the new software on it and it now does this.

For posterity, my screw under the brass plug was 3/4 turn from bottomed. I haven't run it yet, but I backed it off to be 1 turn out.
