The weather man is saying 50 percent chance of rain. I could guess as good as he can though. It either is or it isn't so yeah there's a 50 percent chance we could get rain.
That's ok. Got it at an auction a few years ago for decoration anyways, have never cut anything with it.

T minus 24 hrs n 7 minutes
It's stock. If someone has a Wright blade saw we could race. At a gtg in Iowa a few years back someone raced a Wright against a 1 or 2-man crosscut in Hackberry. The crosscut won.

They still have the rules we wrote up for them 5 years ago. I will say again that if there isn't any local stock saw's that are going to participate we can maybe just go back to the old rules.

Well looks like I will be heading for Rush City, stopping at Dennis Kirk then the chainsaw races.

All in all, a successful racing event despite a bit of controversy over the rules... Had a great crowd is spectators- the pic I took was early-we had 8 benches full plus standing room only- great crowd having lots of fun and cheering. [emoji41]
We were a little light on a few classes, but had 69 saws registered, and here's results as I recorded them:
46-55 bone stock: Tim k's 550
46-55 woods port (wp): Derrick's 2152
46-55 open/race: Mike's echo piped saw
56-65 bone stock: Mike's 034
56-65 wp: Kevin's 562
56-65 open: Adam's 2165
66-75 bone stock: Kevin Derrick's 576
66-75 wp: Derrick Johnson's 2171
66-75 open: Adam Tauer 372
76-86 wp: Andy Carlson 064
76-86 open: Derrick's 2172
