An hour of work

It was about 21 degree's this afternoon, I ran out for about an hour and was able to scrounge up a load of wood. I acquired a little 025 which I wanted to try out. Ran and cut without a hitch.

Boxelder is also known as maple ash.

If I bought a cord of ash and got boxelder I'd be pissed! A boxelder in no way resembles an ash tree other then it's a tree

The bark of boxelder looks much like ash bark.Generations ago B/E was tapped for sap like sugar maple.Thats where the name ash maple comes from.

I looked in two different tree books and neither refer to swamp maple.I googled S/M and Wiki .calls it red maple.Just too many regional names for trees.
