View attachment 379718 It was about 21 degree's this afternoon, I ran out for about an hour and was able to scrounge up a load of wood. I acquired a little 025 which I wanted to try out. Ran and cut without a hitch.

nice quick load. i like the pic except for the white s!@t on the ground.
 
Looks to be box elder not ash the red streaks say boxelder!
It sure could be, my wood ID is not 100%

I don't buy wood, just cut it up, I'm not that fussy as long as it burns
 
Probably an old firewood seller called it that so it would sell more easily:)
The bark of boxelder looks much like ash bark.Generations ago B/E was tapped for sap like sugar maple.Thats where the name ash maple comes from.
