AWOL brought his new 1 month old daughter and we all had an opportunity to enjoy her.

There were three hot saws and my MAC40. My apologies to Hedgerow, I tried to run the big bar and 11 tooth sprocket but the saw didn't like it. I tried again later with the smaller bar and 8T and the time was much better, but still 3 or 4 seconds behind the real hot saws.

Nogoingback (Kris) took top honors with his sweet 101, there's a BDC hiding under the hood.



Scott finished second with his Mc92 powered saw. Seems all the recent work on the engine paid off.



Les had his 101 running well but didn't quite have the technique to keep up with the small 92 powered saw.



Maybe by next year I will fit a pipe to the MAC40 and see if that helps.

You folks really put on a nice display and demonstrations. A lot of us enjoyed it for sure!

I had a really good time, made some new friends and got to see some old ones. The competition was great, I have never enjoyed getting beat like I did in Wisconsin! Thanks to Scott and James for all the hard work that went into organizing the event.
Rebekah took a few videos of the races, I will be working on getting them uploaded and then post some links here.

I never made it down to the saw site this year. Sure missed out on a nice showing there this year. The wife keep me crackin running our stuff in the flea market. Turned out to be a great weekend. ALways turns out good catching up with old freinds and making new ones. Wasnt much for saw stuff in he flea market this year. Seen a clean 707d down the line from use. Never did see what they wanted for it. We moved a lot of old odd iron. I was happy at less iron to haul home.

Thanks for all the pictures Mark. I was there and enjoyed watching the competition. Some bleachers and a PA system would sure be nice. They have an antique saw race a couple hours north of there at the Symco Thresheree in late July. They use the tractor pull track and usually have at least 100 people stay and watch because of the bleachers, but the show is much better in Baraboo because they have so many more saws. I'm not trying to be critical, I know it's not easy making all that stuff happen. It's good to see people get together and enjoy the old stuff.
