Thinking of a chainsaw "holster". Think a spare tire mounted parallel with the back of a pickup truck window. I'd like to mount a saw to holster to the wheel. The bar side of the saw flush/parallel with the spare tire. I'd grab the saw from the driver side, straight out/perpendicular to the door of the truck, or perhaps a slight angle upwards.
This would mean the chainsaw is upside down, fully fueled and oiled ready to fire while in transport.
Is there anything wrong with placing a chainsaw upside down?
