don't know how to post a pic, but the description you described (Pioneer) sounds like the same puller that I use. Would have to change the ID dimensions to allow for different crank sizes.

I've never scratched a crank during a seal removal or pulling a case apart, and I've never heard of anyone scratching a crank. The metal in the crankshaft stub end is unbelievably hard.

Thanks.. I think I'll make some.. easier to make those than the Stihl type... Anyone have any idea what the thread pitch or thread profile is ?

From my experience with Harbor Freight , if you want one, buy ten. Most of their stuff has a life span of about 2 uses then bends, breaks, or just explodes into a million pieces.
