This is for real! By 2014, all saws sold in the USA shall be fuel injected, and by 2015, we'll see saws with water-cooled four strokes! I even heard about air bags sometime around 2018, just on the USA/EU saws.

Tell the EPA to pound salt. There are enough pre-epa saw parts around to last a lifetime.
 
Rumor has it that Toyota is coming out with a hybrid saw.. The California model..
A small gas engine with an 80 pound bank of batteries...

It wiil be called... what else? The Prius.
 
You will only be able to buy one a month and they will have to be registered. Anything over 90cc will be considered a destructive devise and to own it you will have to pay a $200.00 tax. However, there is pending legislation attempting to outlaw the large cc saws all together. It seems that their mere presence causes large trees to topple and the greenies are up in arms about it.

there is 4 stroke saw honda makes not shure if in can/usa yet,
well the way carbs have fixed jet and a computer . fuel injected might
save engines. and saws do have loud exuast and mixed gas
yes they target for noise and envrominet, there is animal fat
oil might be better. and for years bar oil has been no patrolem.
