Decent running/looking MS 440/441/460

I am looking to buy my best friend a saw. I built him a (basically) New/Old stock MS 360. He liked it, but deep down inside he wanted a 440/460. After the last GTG was when he finally said something. .

I was looking to trade that MS 360 when I got an offer to buy it. So now that cash must go towards a 440/441/460.

And yes, it really is for my friend I know a few are already thinking that..

Here is the 360 I built for him. All new parts.. Everything. .

I already have a beast of a 460. This really is for my best friend of 17 years. I would give the shirt off my back for this guy. We worked out a deal this past winter when he was laid off. He did some work around my house, and I paid him with a saw. The 360 is gone, so now a 70 cc Stihl needs to replace it

I had an 036 pro i replaced all the tank and plastics on ,and rebuilt the engine a while back ,i liked that lil guy ,it was sold also

I just sold my ported 036.. It still had the original sticker on the front case. Bought it from an old man at work. All original. It was the saw that started my CAD.

Up until that saw. My "Big" saw was a 455 Rancher.

My early MS440 is still available on ebay for $780 + shipping but you had first dibs.
$700 + shipping. I think whoever gets it will be well pleased.

That's a damn nice 440. I wish we could do it.

$700 isn't out of reach. But have had 2 decent 460's, 2 really nice 460's, a 441C, a 441, and a 440.


This one is $550 Pretty hard to beat a clean 460 at that price. There is still 2 other perspective saws that we are waiting on more info from. But this 460 is likely the one that he will buy

I really don't see why the 046/ms460 isn't more in demand than it is. I, myself prefer the 044 with a Light 28" bar, cause I'm such a light weight

Thank you to all who offered up your nice saws at great prices. The search for a nice 460 is over. I bought a nice Minty MS 460 R for him yesterday.


There is 2 I wish I had the money for personally. But I wasn't buying for myself. I was buying for a friend.
