Not all of the 365 models had bolt on intakes. Some have the round clamp like the 371\372 (I recently owned one). I could be wrong but I am thinking many later versions were also closed port. The X-torx models can easily be spotted by having a de-comp on the top of the cylinder and a blue choke pull. The only way to turn that 365 into a 372 is with a different piston and cylinder.
I have a 365 special here with a bad top end. Does the Special mean it can be made into the 372 with grinding or is it just the 65cc version. Lot of back and forth info in here.
One of my specials is a closed port 1 ring piston with zama...
The 365 special can be converted to a 372, I had one set up with a ported 372 top end. Of course I changed out the carb, and intake boot, as well as setting it up with a 372 high top air filter. It can get expensive, so you need to figure that before you jump. The 365 special has the same bottom as a 372. I am talking pre 2010 on all of this.
Sn is 967 08 26 00. 99 4301417 wasn't pleased with this saw as it was no comparison to my 372 and 562 the 562 flat out cuts it with 20 and 24... I decided to go the cheap rout and got a 372 aftermarket cylinder and piston, buyer beware it was an open port 372 cylinder. ..
