if 18" is what you are after, you could have put one on the 455 instead of the 20". a 460 is pretty much a 455 with a 24" bar. it seems they went in the less saw longer bar direction for the size matters sales. in my opinion, I think the 460 should be a 20" and they should have a 470 option for the 24" bar. a 460 with an 18" bar would zip through firewood. they are great saws for the money and will last.

Bought the 346XP last night. Couldn't pass it up for the price & condition. What a light saw compared to the rancher.
