Looking to compare all specs of 288XP vs a 372XP.
A sheet I have shows:
288 at 15.9lb - 88cc - 5.4 HP
&
372 at 13.4lb - 71cc - 5.4 HP
Is that right? Acres shows the 288 at 6.1HP, 16.3lb & 87cc?
I guess I don't know what they really are. Any other numbers anyone thinks relevant I would be interested in as well. If they really are the same power I guess I might go with the 372 just because it's newer and for part availability, although I've read a few folks say the 288 were really durable. (I've also bought a bunch of nice parts for the 288 already like a dual port muffler!)
Also relevant, how easy it is to replace seals on each. I've already gone and forgot on the 288, I know the oiler side one is right on the oiler and it's pretty easy to do. I don't like having to split a case to replace seals.
